Reimbursement for damaged orthotic or prosthetic devices

The CNESST reimburses workers for the costs they paid for the repair or replacement of their orthotic or prosthetic device unintentionally damaged by a sudden and unexpected event that occurred as a result of their work.

Claim for reimbursement

As a worker, once your claim has been accepted, you may complete the Application for reimbursement of expenses form.

To be reimbursed, you must present a supporting document, such as an invoice or a receipt.

You are not entitled to this reimbursement if you are covered by another insurance plan.

Reimbursement amounts and deductibles are reviewed annually.
